Section 357.221 - District formation; petition requirements(1) A library district may be created as provided in ORS 198.705 to 198.955 and 357.216 to 357.286.(2) In addition to other required matters, a petition for formation of a district shall state the method of election of the board of the proposed district from among the methods described in ORS 357.241.
