Section 291.215 - Governor's budget to include amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements(1) Each biennium, the Governor shall propose as part of the Governor's recommended budget an amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements on existing state-owned buildings and infrastructure that is equivalent to at least two percent of the current replacement value of the state-owned buildings and infrastructure.(2) As used in this section, "state-owned buildings and infrastructure" does not include: (a) Buildings and infrastructure owned by or for the use of a public university listed in ORS 352.002 or a community college as defined in ORS 341.005; or(b) Transportation infrastructure, including roads and bridges.291.215 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 291 or any series therein by legislative action.
