Section 25.625 - Federal tax offset; passport denial; rules(1) The Department of Justice may furnish to the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services certifications appropriate to and required for action by the secretary to offset federal income tax returns and to deny, revoke or limit passports of individuals owing child support arrearages.(2) The department shall adopt rules to carry out the purposes of subsection (1) of this section.1997 c.746 §13; 2003 c. 73, § 36 25.625 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 25 or any series therein by legislative action.
