Okla. Stat. tit. 74 § 9002
The Legislature finds that some citizens encounter difficulty entering the workforce or maintaining stable employment as a result of a lack of selfdiscipline, insufficient interpersonal skills, and the inability to recognize the intrinsic value of personal and professional habits that are conducive to sustained employment with an employer, positive working relationships with coworkers and the foundation for success both as an employee and as a prospective employer or entrepreneur. In order to address the problems created by the inability of some people to acquire employment positions that are meaningful for them as employees and as people, the Legislature enacts the Support Training Results in Valuable Employment (STRIVE) Act.
