Rule 20 - Date of Trial on Merits

The judge hearing the pre-trial shall at the pre-trial conference determine if the date set for hearing the petition on its merits and which was designated as the trial date of the case, can be then specified as the date of the trial of the case on its merits. If within the discretion of the judge hearing the pretrial conference it should appear to said judge at the pre-trial hearing that another date for the trial of the case on its merits should be then designated, said judge will enter an order fixing another date for the trial of the case on its merits.
