Section 475.16 - [Effective Until 11/1/2024] Terms of certificates - Maintaining certificatesA. The Board shall issue certificates of licensure and certificates of authorization for firms for a term of twenty-four (24) months.B. It shall be the duty of the Executive Director to notify every person licensed under Section 475.1 et seq. of this title, and every firm holding a certificate of authorization under Section 475.1 et seq. of this title, of the date of the expiration of the certificate of licensure or certificate of authorization, and the amount of the fee required for its renewal. C. Renewal may be effected at any time prior to or during the month of expiration by the payment of a fee as established by the Board. Renewal of an expired certificate may be effected under rules promulgated by the Board regarding requirements for reexamination and penalty fees.D. If a licensee is granted inactive status, the licensee may return to active status by notifying the Board in advance of his or her intention, by paying appropriate fees and by meeting all requirements of the Board, including demonstration of continuing professional competency as a condition of reinstatement.E. Every licensee is required to comply with the Board's rules regarding continuing education or meet the Model NCEES Continuing Professional Competency standard requirement, which is equivalent to fifteen (15) professional development hours per calendar year with no allowable carryover, as a condition of license renewal.Okla.
