Section 4729.901 - Form of application(A) An applicant for registration under section 4729.90 of the Revised Code shall file with the state board of pharmacy an application in the form and manner prescribed in rules adopted under section 4729.94 of the Revised Code. The application shall be accompanied by an application fee of fifty dollars, which shall not be returned if the applicant fails to qualify for registration.(B) If the board is satisfied that the applicant meets the requirements of section 4729.90 of the Revised Code and any additional requirements established by the board and determines that the results of a criminal records check do not make the applicant ineligible, the board shall register the applicant as a registered pharmacy technician or certified pharmacy technician, as applicable.(C) The board shall register as a registered pharmacy technician or certified pharmacy technician, as applicable, in accordance with Chapter 4796. of the Revised Code an applicant if either of the following applies:(1) The applicant holds a license or is registered in another state.(2) The applicant has satisfactory work experience, a government certification, or a private certification as described in that chapter as a pharmacy technician in a state that does not issue that license or registration.(D) Registration under division (B) or (C) of this section is valid for the period specified by the board in rules adopted under section 4729.94 of the Revised Code.
