The department of education and workforce annually shall collect, analyze, and publish data regarding reading achievement in schools and progress in assisting all students to become proficient readers. Beginning on January 31, 2015, and on the thirty-first day of each January thereafter, the department shall report these findings, in accordance with section 101.68 of the Revised Code, to the governor and the general assembly.
