Beginning not later than one year after the effective date of this section and except as provided in sections 128.242 and 128.243 of the Revised Code, a business service user that provides residential or business facilities, owns or controls a multiline telephone system or voice over internet protocol system in those facilities, and provides outbound dialing capacity from those facilities shall ensure both of the following:
(A) In the case of a multiline telephone system that is capable of initiating a 9-1-1 call, the system is connected to the public switched telephone network in such a way that when an individual using the system dials 9-1-1, the call connects to the public safety answering point without requiring the user to dial any additional digit or code.(B) The system is configured to provide notification of any 9-1-1 call made through the system to a centralized location on the same site as the system.
