Section 9-5B-8 - Eligibility requirements; benefitsA. Persons eligible for enrollment as corps members are persons who: (2) are between the ages of fourteen and twenty-five years old;(3) are New Mexico residents; and(4) meet any additional eligibility standards for employment as deemed necessary by the commission.B. Corps members are not entitled to any employee benefits provided to state employees under the Personnel Act [Chapter 10, Article 9 NMSA 1978]. Corps members shall be entitled to receive workers' compensation benefits provided by the commission.
