Section 61-12C-9 - [Repealed effective 7/1/2028] Requirements for licensure of massage therapistsA. The board shall issue a license to practice massage therapy to any individual who files a completed application, accompanied by the required fees, and who submits satisfactory evidence that the applicant:(1) has reached the age of majority;(2) has completed all educational requirements established by the board; and(3) has completed at least six hundred fifty hours of education that includes at least five hundred hours of massage therapy instruction.B.
