Section 32A-11-4 - [For Repeal, See Note] "Appropriate authority"; health and social services department [human services department][health care authority department]As used in Paragraph A of Article 5 of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the phrase, "appropriate authority in the receiving state," with reference to New Mexico shall mean the health and social services department [human services department][health care authority department].

Laws 2023, ch. 205, § 16 provided that references to the human services department shall be deemed to be references to the health care authority department.
