Section 1-12-66 - Paper ballots; signature rosters, checklist of voters and tally sheets; dispositionA. After all certificates have been executed, the presiding judge and the two election judges shall place the checklist of voters and one copy of the certificate of returns in that polling place in the stamped, addressed envelope provided for that purpose and an election judge shall immediately mail it to the secretary of state.B. The signature roster and the original certificate of returns in that polling place shall be returned to the county clerk. The signature roster and the certificate of returns shall not be placed in the ballot box.C.
