Section 45:3B-14 - Temporary licensea. The director, in consultation with the committee, may issue a temporary license to any person who has recently become a resident of this State, who has applied for licensing as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist, or both, as the case may be, and who has been licensed by the state of his former residence. The temporary license shall be effective for a period not to exceed one year, and shall not be renewed.b. The director, in consultation with the committee, shall issue a temporary license to any person who has applied for licensure as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist, or both, as the case may be; who has satisfactorily met the licensing requirements of subsections a. and b. of section 8 of P.L. 1983, c. 420 (C. 45:3B-8); and who is participating in a clinical internship required for licensure pursuant to subsection c. of section 8 of P.L. 1983, c. 420 (C. 45:3B-8). The temporary license shall be effective only during the clinical internship period not to exceed 18 months, and shall not be renewed.L.1983, c.420; amended by L.1987, c.332, s.2.
