Section 45:14BB-6 - Requirements for certification as psychoanalystTo be eligible to be certified as a psychoanalyst, an applicant shall:
a. Be at least 18 years of age;b. Be of good moral character;c. Have received a master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education;d. Have received a graduate certificate in psychoanalysis from a free-standing psychoanalytic institute that is chartered by a state or foreign government and approved by the director or accredited by a national psychoanalytic association and approved by the director; ande. Have successfully passed an examination approved by the director, in consultation with the advisory committee, to determine the applicant's competence to practice psychoanalytic services.
