Section 40:11A-22.2 - Qualification for appointment as parking enforcement officerNo person may be appointed as a parking enforcement officer unless the person:
a. is a resident of this State during the term of appointment;b. is able to read, write, and speak the English language proficiently;c. has the mental capacity and physical ability to perform the tasks of parking enforcement officer;d. is of good moral character;e. has not been convicted of any offense involving dishonesty or which would make the person unfit to perform the duties of the office.Amended by L., c. 103,s. 107, eff. 8/7/2013.
