Section 30:4C-21 - Guardianship order not to be restrictive

The order of the court committing a child to the guardianship of the Division of Child Protection and Permanency, shall in no wise be restrictive of the duties, powers, and authority of the division in the care, custody, placement, welfare, and exclusive guardianship of the child as provided in P.L. 1951, c.138 (C.30:4C-1 et seq.), and the division shall be removed as the guardian only by a court of competent jurisdiction upon charges preferred and upon good cause shown after an opportunity to be heard.
