Section 30:4-80.10 - Inapplicability of act, exception

This act shall not apply to any case in which the defendant was found not guilty of a crime because of insanity or from a determination that the defendant was incompetent to stand trial, except for the purpose of applying to the court pursuant to the NICS Improvement Amendments Act of 2007, Pub. L. 110-180, for relief from a federal firearms disability to possess a firearm imposed under 18 U.S.C. ss. 922(d)(4) and (g)(4).
