Section 26:6-91 - Immunity from liabilitya. A person or entity shall be immune from liability for actions taken in accordance with, or in a good faith attempt to act in accordance with, the provisions of this act or the applicable anatomical gift law of another state.b. Neither the person making an anatomical gift nor the donor's estate shall be liable for any injury or damage that results from the making or use of the gift.c. In determining whether an anatomical gift has been made, amended, or revoked pursuant to this act, a person or entity shall rely upon representations made by an individual as specified in section 9 of this act relating to the individual's relationship to the donor or prospective donor unless the person knows that the representation is untrue.Added by L. 2008, c. 50,s. 15, eff. 7/22/2008.
