Section 374-C:10 - Exemption From Taxes, Levy and SaleI.All property of the public utility division of the bank is hereby declared to be public property devoted to an essential public and governmental function and purpose and shall be exempt from all taxes and special assessments of the state or any subdivision thereof. All bonds or notes issued pursuant to this chapter are hereby declared to be issued by a body corporate and public of this state and for an essential public and governmental purpose and such bonds and notes, and the interest thereon and the income therefrom, and all fees, charges, funds, revenues, income and other moneys pledged or available to pay or secure the payment of such bonds or notes, or interest thereon, shall at all times be exempt from taxation except for transfer, inheritance and estate taxes.II.All property of the public utility division of the bank shall be exempt from levy and sale by virtue of an execution and no execution or other judicial process shall issue against the same nor shall any judgment against the bank be a charge or lien upon its property; provided, that nothing herein contained shall apply to or limit the rights of the holder of any bonds or notes to pursue any remedy for the enforcement of any pledge or lien given by the bank on its revenues or other moneys. 1979, 498:2. 1981, 315:12, eff.
