Section 84.080 - Powers and duties of successors in office1. In the event of the death or resignation of any such archbishop, bishop, president, trustee in trust, president of stake, president of congregation, overseer, presiding elder, district superintendent, or other presiding officer or member of the clergy, or of his or her removal from such office by the person or body having the authority to remove him or her when the person is at the time a corporation sole, the successor in office, as such corporation sole, is vested with the title to all property held by the predecessor, as such corporation sole, with like power and authority over the property and is subject to all the legal liabilities and obligations with reference thereto.2.
