Section 705.220 - Railroad police: Appointment; responsibility for actions; wearing of badge1. The Governor may, upon the application of any railroad company, appoint and commission one or more persons, designated by the company, to serve as railroad police officers. The persons so appointed must serve at the sole expense of the company. The company designating such persons is responsible civilly for any abuse of their authority.2.
