Section 697.070 - "General agent" defined1. "General agent" means any individual or person appointed by an insurer to supervise or manage the bail bond business written by bail agents of such insurer.2. A general agent shall not solicit or negotiate undertakings of bail or bail bonds unless licensed as a bail agent by this state.
