Section 630.26825 - Regulations concerning licensureThe Board shall adopt regulations establishing the requirements for the issuance of a license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to NRS 630.2683 and a temporary license to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant pursuant to NRS 630.2685, including, without limitation:
1. The required qualifications of an applicant for such a license or temporary license;2. The academic or educational certificates, credentials or programs of study required of an applicant for such a license or temporary license;3. The procedures for submitting an application for such a license or temporary license;4. The standards of review for applications submitted pursuant to NRS 630.2683 and 630.2685 and procedures for the issuance of such licenses;5. The testing or examination of applicants by the Board;6. The renewal, revocation, suspension and termination of licenses;7. The regulation and discipline of anesthesiologist assistants, including, without limitation, the reporting of complaints, conducting investigations of alleged misconduct and disciplinary proceedings;8. The requirements for the supervision of an anesthesiologist assistant by a supervising anesthesiologist; and9. Consistent with the provisions of NRS 630.2682, the duties which an anesthesiologist assistant may perform under the supervision of a supervising anesthesiologist.Added to NRS by 2023, 1548Added by 2023, Ch. 247,§10, eff. 1/1/2024.
