Section 503.290 - Manner and means of fishing; authorized use of not more than two combinations of hook, line and rod; taking frogs1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, it is unlawful for any person to fish in or from any of the waters of the State of Nevada for any fish of any species in any manner other than with hook and line attached to a rod or reel closely attended in the manner known as angling. Not more than two combinations of hook, line and rod may be used by one person at any time.2. The Commission may by regulation authorize other methods for taking fish. Frogs may be taken by spear, bow and arrow, hook and line or by other methods authorized by the Commission's regulation.3. For the purposes of this section, "hook" includes not more than three baited hooks, not more than three fly hooks or not more than two plugs or similar lures.
