Section 489.325 - Regulations providing for licensing of specialty servicepersons1. The Administrator may adopt regulations which provide for the licensing of specialty servicepersons. A person licensed as a specialty serviceperson pursuant to this section must be limited in the scope of the work he or she may perform to installation or repair in one of the following categories: (a) Awnings, roofing or skirting;(c) Heating and air-conditioning systems;(d) Electrical systems; or(e) Any other category that may be similarly licensed by the State Contractors' Board.2. The Administrator shall provide in those regulations for:(a) The imposition of reasonable fees for application, examination and licensure.(b) The creation and administration of a written or oral examination for each category of limited licensure.(c) Minimum qualifications for such a license, including, without limitation, the passage of any applicable examination required pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS 489.351, unless waived pursuant to subsection 2 of NRS 489.351.3.
