Section 489.297 - Order to stop work1. Whenever any construction, rebuilding or other work is performed in violation of this chapter or any regulation adopted pursuant to this chapter, the Division may order the work stopped.2. The order to stop work must be served upon the person doing the work or upon the person causing the work to be done. The person served with the order shall immediately cease the work until authorized by the Division to continue it.3.
