Section 449.450 - Definitions As used in NRS 449.450 to 449.530, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Admitted health insurer" means an insurer authorized to transact health insurance in this State under a certificate of authority issued by the Commissioner of Insurance.2. "Department" means the Department of Health and Human Services.3. "Director" means the Director of the Department.4. "Institution" means any person, place, building or agency which maintains and operates facilities for the diagnosis, care and treatment of human illness and provides beds for inpatient care.
