Section 435.009 - Policy concerning persons with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities It is the policy of this State that persons with intellectual disabilities and persons with developmental disabilities:
1. Receive services in a considerate and respectful manner;2. Are recognized as individuals before recognizing the disabilities of the persons; and3.
