Section 408.387 - Contract: Publication of notice of final acceptance; final settlement1. Before making final payment on any contract as provided in this chapter the Director shall cause the publication of a notice of the date of final acceptance of the contract for a period of at least 2 weeks in every issue of a newspaper of general circulation in the county wherein the major portion of the contract work was performed, and such notice may also be published each day for a period of at least 10 days in one or more daily newspapers of general circulation throughout the State.2.
