Section 387.644 - Annual reporting by school districts exempt from review1. If a school district is granted an exemption pursuant to NRS 387.631 or 387.639, the board of trustees of the school district shall provide written notice for each year that the exemption applies which includes:(a) A determination of whether the school district continues to carry out the management principles; and(b) Any changes in the policies or operations of the school district or any other circumstances occurring in the school district that do not conform to the management principles.2. The written notice must be submitted on or before January 1 to:(a) In even-numbered years, the State Board, the Joint Interim Standing Committee on Education and the Legislative Auditor.(b) In odd-numbered years, the State Board, the Legislative Auditor and the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmission to the Legislature.Added to NRS by 2005, 2445Added to NRS by 2005, 2445
