Section 383.011 - Definitions As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
1. "Administrator" means the Administrator of the Office.2. "Advisory Board" means the Board of Museums and History.3. "Commission" means the Commission for Cultural Centers and Historic Preservation created by NRS 383.500.4. "Cultural affiliation" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 381.001.5. "Cultural resources" means any objects, sites or information of historic, prehistoric, archeological, architectural or paleontological significance.6. "Department" means the State Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.7. "Director" means the Director of the Department.8. "Indian tribe" means any tribe, band, nation or other organized group or community of Indians which is recognized as eligible for the special programs and services provided by the United States to native Indians because of their status as native Indians.9. "Office" means the Office of Historic Preservation of the Department.10.
