Section 338.126 - Required notice to newly-hired workers by contractor engaged on public work: Contents; acknowledgment of receipt1. A contractor engaged on a public work shall provide to his or her workers at the time of hire a written or electronic notice that includes, without limitation: (a) The Internet website of the Labor Commissioner where the prevailing wage rates for the public work are posted;(b) The name of the contractor; and(c) The physical address of the principal place of business of the contractor.2. A contractor shall obtain a written or electronic acknowledgment of receipt of any notice pursuant to this section. The acknowledgment of notice must be maintained by the contractor for at least 2 years, made available to the Labor Commissioner upon request and include, without limitation:(a) The worker's name, contact information and signature; and(b) The date on which the worker received the notice.Added to NRS by 2023, 450Added by 2023, Ch. 92,§5.5, eff. 1/1/2024.
