Section 327.010 - Designation of systems; division of State into three zones1. The system of plane coordinates which has been established for defining and stating the positions or locations of points on the surface of the earth within the State of Nevada: (a) By the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey is designated as the Nevada Coordinate System of 1927.(b) By the National Geodetic Survey of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or the federal agency which succeeds it, is designated as the Nevada Coordinate System of 1983.2. For the purpose of the use of these systems the State is divided into an East Zone, a Central Zone, and a West Zone. The area now included in:(a) Clark, Elko, Eureka, Lincoln and White Pine counties constitutes the East Zone.(b) Lander and Nye counties constitutes the Central Zone.(c) Carson City and Churchill, Douglas, Esmeralda, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe counties constitutes the West Zone.[1:84:1945; 1943 NCL § 5589]-(NRS A 1969, 329; 1983, 1339)[1:84:1945; 1943 NCL § 5589] - (NRS A 1969, 329; 1983, 1339)
