Section 298.650 - Requirements for holding presidential preference primary election; date; exception1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, a presidential preference primary election must be held for all major political parties on the first Tuesday in February of each presidential election year.2. A presidential preference primary election must not be held for a major political party if only one qualified candidate or no qualified candidate of the major political party files a declaration of candidacy pursuant to NRS 298.660.
