Section 266.325 - Control of animals and poultry; collection of fee; limitation1. The city council may: (a) Fix, impose and collect an annual license fee on all animals and provide for the capture and disposal of all animals on which the license fee is not paid.(b) Regulate or prohibit the running at large and disposal of all kinds of animals and poultry.(c) Establish a pound, appoint a poundkeeper and prescribe the poundkeeper's duties.(d) Prohibit cruelty to animals.2.
