Section 244.300 - Operation, maintenance and improvement of parks, golf courses and other centers to which county holds title1. The county commissioners of the several counties, in addition to the powers now conferred upon them by law, may operate, manage, improve and maintain all public parks, golf courses and other public recreational and cultural centers and areas, the construction of which has either been initiated or completed, and the title to which is held by the county.2.
