Section 228.440 - Creation of Office; appointment; term; qualifications; classification; removal1. The Office of Ombudsman for Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking is hereby created within the Office of the Attorney General.2. The Attorney General shall appoint a person to serve in the position of Ombudsman for a term of 4 years. The person so appointed:(a) Must be knowledgeable about the legal and societal aspects of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking;(b) Is in the unclassified service of the State; and(c) Is not required to be an attorney.3.
