Section 178A.090 - "Law enforcement official" defined1. "Law enforcement official" means: (a) Any person employed by a law enforcement agency; or (b) Any person employed by a public school, private school or institution of higher education whose primary duty is to enforce the law.2. For purposes of this section: (a) "Institution of higher education" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 179D.045.(b) "Private school" means a nonprofit private elementary or secondary educational institution that is licensed in this State.(c) "Public school" has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 388.127.Added to NRS by 2019, 2841Added by 2019, Ch. 478,§10, eff. 1/1/2020.
