Section 7-4-4305 - Power to grant pardons

The mayor has power to grant pardons and remit fines and forfeitures for offenses against city or town ordinances when in the mayor's judgment public justice would be thereby subserved. The mayor must report all pardons granted, with the reasons therefor, to the next council.
