Section 61-3-481 - Generic specialty license plates - restrictions on use(1) Generic specialty license plates may be issued by the department in conjunction with the registration of any motor vehicle except a motorcycle or a quadricycle. The department may not issue generic specialty license plates without the motor vehicle having been registered.(2) Generic specialty license plates may be used only as the official license plates for a motor vehicle.En.
