Section 50-32-223 - Criteria for placement of drug in Schedule II
The board shall place a drug in Schedule II if it finds that:
(1) the drug has high potential for abuse;(2) the drug has currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States or currently accepted medical use with severe restrictions; and(3) the abuse of the drug may lead to severe psychic or physical dependence.
