Section 33-23-225 - Application - exclusion(1) The provisions of 33-23-221 through 33-23-226 apply to a telematics agreement entered into between a policyholder and an insurer.(2) The provisions of 33-23-221 through 33-23-226 do not apply to a manufacturer of a motor vehicle or supplier of an aftermarket device or services or to its respective subsidiaries or affiliates that embed in or provide a recording device for a motor vehicle as long as the manufacturer or supplier or the respective subsidiaries or affiliates is not acting as an insurer.Added by Laws 2015, Ch. 304, Sec. 5, eff. 10/1/2015, and applicable to telematics agreements entered into or renewed on or after January 1, 2016.
