Section 260.607 - Powers and duties of boardThe corporation is hereby granted all powers necessary or appropriate to carry out and effectuate its purposes under sections 260.600 to 260.607, including but not limited to the following:
(1) To adopt bylaws and rules for the regulation of its affairs and the conduct of its business;(2) To adopt an official seal;(4) To make and execute leases, contracts, releases, compromises and other instruments necessary or convenient to carry out its purposes;(5) To acquire, whether by purchase, exchange or gift, real properties located within any area designated for cleanup under this act*;(6) To convey real properties whenever the board of directors finds that it has acquired all rights, title and interests in all properties within the area designated for cleanup;(7) To employ and pay compensation to such employees and agents, including attorneys, and others, as the board of directors shall deem necessary to further the purposes of sections 260.600 to 260.607.L. 1983 H.B. 528 § 7
