Section 8.700 - DefinitionsAs used in sections 8.700 to 8.745, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following terms mean:
(1)"Blind person", a person who, after examination by a physician skilled in diseases of the eye or by an optometrist, whichever such person shall select, has been determined to have not more than 20/200 central visual acuity in the better eye with correcting lenses, or an equally disabling loss of the visual field as evidenced by a limitation to the field of vision in the better eye to such a degree that its widest diameter subtends an angle of no greater than 20`;(2)"Licensing agent", the rehabilitation services for the blind of the family support division;(3)"Vending facility", a location which may sell, at wholesale or retail, food or food products, beverages, confections, newspapers, books, periodicals, tobacco products and other articles or services dispensed automatically or manually and prepared on or off the premises in accordance with applicable health laws. A "vending facility" may consist, exclusively or in appropriate combination, of automatic vending machines, cafeterias, snack bars, cart service, shelters, counters and such appropriate equipment as the licensing agent may by regulation prescribe as being necessary for the sale of the articles or services described in this subdivision.
