Section 47-5-909 - [Repealed effective 7/1/2027] Incarceration in county jails as temporary measure only; Department of Corrections to pay county jails for housing state offenders and provide for medical costs(1) It is the policy of the Legislature that all inmates be removed from county jails as early as practicable.
