Miss. Code § 11-9-119
The scire facias to be issued by the justice for a defaulting witness may be as follows, viz.:
"The State of Mississippi.
"To any lawful officer of ____________________ County:
"This is to command you to make known to ____________________ that a judgment in favor of ____________________ for ten dollars has been given against him by me, a justice of the peace of ____________________ County, for his default in not appearing before me, at ____________________, on the ____________________ day of ____________________ A. D. ____________________, to testify as a witness for ____________________ in the case of ____________________ against ____________________, No. ____________________ as he has been subpoenaed to do; and unless, on the ____________________ day of ____________________, A. D. ____________________, before me at ____________________, at ____________________, o'clock, ____________________, he shall show cause to the contrary, the said judgment will be made final; and have there then this writ.
"Witness my hand this the ____________________ day of ____________________, A. D. ____________________ J.P."
