Section 62J.83 - REDUCED PAYMENT AMOUNTS PERMITTED(a) Notwithstanding any provision of chapter 148 or any other provision of law to the contrary, a health care provider may provide care to a patient at a discounted payment amount, including care provided for free.(b) This section does not apply in a situation in which the discounted payment amount is not permitted under federal law.2006 c 255 s 26; 2008 c 344 s 56; 2009 c 86 art 1s 88
