Section 600.8725 - Issuance of citation; fee prohibited; violation(1) An authorized local official issuing a citation under this chapter for a municipal civil infraction shall not accept a fee for issuing the citation.(2) An authorized local official who violates this section is guilty of misconduct in office and subject to removal from office.Add. 1994, Act 12, Eff. 5/1/1994.
