Section 550.1909 - Written request to director; manner; electronic communication(1) Except for a request for an expedited external review under section 13, all requests for external review must be made in writing to the director.(2) A written notice required to be provided under this act must be provided in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner, as required under 45 CFR 147.136(b)(2)(ii)(E).(3) A health carrier may satisfy a requirement for the delivery of a notice to a covered person under this act by complying with 29 CFR 2520.104b-1(c) with respect to the use of electronic communication.Amended by 2016, Act 274,s 4, eff. 9/29/2016.2000, Act 251, Eff. 10/1/2000.
